This quote is from our special Guest Professor, Jaroslav Bíro. It translates to “you can be stupid, but you have to know how to forgive”. Think about the plethora of interpretations you can put on these fine words. If you are dumb, people are going to take advantage of you, so you better be able to forgive them. Or, if you are dumb, you must be ready to forgive other people when they condemn your stupidity. Or, if you are dumb, you can be successful by forgiving everyone around you and thereby gaining a large number of friends. Since I am perhaps the stupidest man in all of Central Europe, I am working hard on learning how to be forgiving. I’ll need it!
