Is it better to live in a big city or a little village? I don’t know. I’ve mostly lived in a city „město“ or small town „městec“. That makes me a měšťák or měšťan. These places can be cold and impersonal. Yet I imagine living in a village, „vesnice“, and being a „vesničan“ would be confining and intrusive. Even more so if I lived in a „vesnička“, which must be a really small place since it’s even tinier than a village. I wonder how many slovodne readers live outside a město?
